About GoshujinSama
GoshujinSama is creating Punk Pop, Alternative Rap, and ElectroPop or what they like to call "MiScHiEF MUSiC". They are an Artist, Producer, and Audio Engineer from Atlanta. Inspired by acts like Green Day, Billie Eilish, and Bring Me The Horizon.
GoshujinSama came out the gate strong with their debut single "Princess.wav"; the fun, sexy, frenetic, dance, electro-pop song. It currently has over 130k views as a sound on TikTok and over 7k streams on Spotify alone.
They're back with a new project titled "DUALity" which includes not only an updated "Princess.wav" but also the imagining of their vision with such songs as "Lobotomy" and "CYaL8r aLLig8r" which round out this new, fresh, sound.
Someone once told me; "Learn to embrace duality."
I was having a tough time reconciling some contrasting feelings and desires of mine. Stuff that I felt made me an awful human being, despite time and time again proving that isn't who I was. How can you be both Hitler and Gandhi? Ok, fair, crazy example. But the point remains the same; how do you live with duality?
Perhaps you do so through spirituality or religion. Maybe you believe in karma.
You can be the person that goes out of their way to find the money to pay for someones food who clearly can't themselves.
And the very next moment be the same person who sees someone drop a $20 bill and snags it for themselves.
Or more pertinently, does simply thinking something awful make you a bad person?
What if that thought makes you feel good?
That's the concept. Resolving conflicting identities.
